Kanyanchu communities are used to individuals–some have been tracked for 25 years–and are more than 90 percent likely to find them. Walks at 8:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm and last about 2 to 5 hours from the tourist to the Visitors Centre. The check-in and briefing are suggested for early arrival. visitors are allowed one hour with the chimpanzee, chimpanzee groups are limited to 6 visitors trekking each group, the person taking part in chimp trekking, must be 16 years of age or older. It is best to book the permits ahead of time.
